Palace

This is just one of the several palaces/homes that belonged to the Shah of Iran during his reign there....of course he is long gone now ! 
....What is left shows just how he use to live, these are just a few pictures....
There was NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY inside:-O so some pictures look a bit on the dark side....they are better viewed enlarged.

The high Alborz Mountains sealing off the narrow Caspian strip, are covered with dense forests and lush vegetation that have to be crossed when travelling to the north of Iran.......which is eXactly where I went one day
